Tyco Toys
Tyco Toys was a North American toys manufacturer founded in 1926 by John Tyler and family. It was formely called Mantua Metal Products, model trains die-cast was their main business. In 1960 it changed to Tyco and in 1997 it was purchased by Mattel. Tyco turned into a division of Mattel until early 2010's. A popular line of prehistoric animals was released in 1987 based on Dino Riders television series, in 1990 most of them are reissued under Smythsonian Institution with almost the same figures but without accessories. The list below show them according with the names used in the Smythsonian Institution series, those from previous series are noted. .
