Tim-Mee toys started in 1948 as a subsidiary of Anchor Brush Company. They made sets of figures sold in header bags including farm, dinosaurs, and Western. They were purchased by Processed Plastics in 1965 and continued to use the Tim-Mee brand name for figures until 2005 when Processed Plastics was purchased by J. Lloyd International and became part of Tootsie Toy.
