Schleich WWF Animals

From 1982 to 1986, a small series of endangered wild animal models was produced. They were designed by the artist Helmut Diller,, and sold, mounted on a plate with the name written in Latin.

They are now extremely rare collector's items, and therefore very pricey.

In the 1991 catalogue, the models were shown as loose models. The Przewalski horse is not shown, but can be found, (always ?) with a clear "CE" melted under the bottom .
