Begun in 1872 as C.B.G. in France this is one of the oldest toy soldier companies in the world. The CBG is for the original partners Cuperly, Blondel and Gerbeau. In 1897 Henri Mignot joined the company, and in 1912 he had full control. Figures in France are known as C.B.G. while internationally they are known as Mignot. During the 1930s they produced figures of solid aluminum under the name Mignalu. They have produced many figures over the years, in animals both wild and domestic are known and they also have made dinosaurs.
